Recently I had the pleasure of dining at curry palace Alton, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the peaceful ambiance that immediately made me feel relaxed and at home. The decor is tastefully understated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that creates a tranquil environment perfect for an intimate dinner or a quiet gathering with friends and family’s.
The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that every need was met with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes.
Now, onto the food—every dish was a masterpiece. Chicken 65 was best I had ever eaten The flavors were vibrant and perfectly balanced, showcasing the chef's skill and passion for creating unforgettable meals. From the appetizers to the desserts, each course was a delightful journey of taste. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the presentation was as beautiful as the food was delicious.
Overall, curry palaces Alton is a must-visit for anyone seeking a peaceful dining experience with outstanding service and food that will leave you craving more. I can't wait to return and explore more of their exquisite menu. Highly...
Read moreI went for a takeaway a few weeks ago. This was my first visit & the food was good. Only problem was the restaurant was so cold (it was about minus 2 degrees C outside). i noticed that the radiators were hot but the internals / fins were clogged with dust (often overlooked in maintaining a CH system) so they couldn't convect properly (heat from a radiator is claimed to be 85% + by convection). However I believe the main problem is the kitchen hood extract system sucking the heat out of the entire upper floor of the building (since upon entering the restaurant from the back carpark a howling noise was evident and also when I visited the toilets). I suggest that a window is opened in the kitchen for replacement air and perhaps a speed controler added to the extractor fan (if motor is suitable) so that it can be slowed down a little. From memory the restaurant is the top floor of the building, therefore, like in a Bungalow, roof insulation becomes very important (compared to the smaller area of wall) so this could be checked out. Windows are modern double glazed. There is an airconditioner, not in use, that perhaps is used for heating when the restaurant is being used normally for...
Read moreAbsolutely brilliant service, delicious food, and friendly staff. We were looking for a place to enjoy hot food and happened to stumble upon the curry palace. Do not be fooled by its exterior it’s a very warm and friendly place with fab decor inside. This place is unmatched with their food and service. We ordered the chicken curry, lamb curry, veg curry, lamb biryani, boiled rice, Peshawari naan, and many garlic naans. Never have we enjoyed a meal so much. The food came out perfectly hot and perfectly seasoned after within 20 minutes of being seated. You could taste the love and effort and passion put into each and every dish. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for not just a good, but a fantastic curry and a warm friendly dining experience. For five of us everything cost around £65~ including soft drinks which is incredibly cheap compared to other London restaurants we’ve tried. This is no ordinary restaurant, it’s not to be missed - will definitely be...
