Pizza Express, Alton: A Convenient and Tasty Option
As a guest staying at the nearby hotel, Pizza Express in Alton was a convenient choice for dinner. The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a casual meal we opted for the Chicken Caesar salad, which was fresh and flavorful. The creamy dressing complemented the crisp romaine lettuce and grilled chicken perfectly. The garlic bread was a classic accompaniment, with a satisfying crunch and a hint of garlic.
For a lighter option, I tried the Leggera Padana pizza. The thin crust was delightfully crispy, and the combination of cheese and tomato sauce was delicious. While the pizza was enjoyable, I felt that a bit more onion chutney would have enhanced the flavor profile.
To finish off the meal, we shared a Biscoff Millionaire dessert. The layers of chocolate, caramel, and Biscoff cookies were a decadent treat, providing a sweet ending to our dinner.
Unfortunately, I encountered a minor issue with the app, which wouldn't load while I was in the restaurant. As a result, I was unable to use my voucher.
Overall, my experience at Pizza Express in Alton was positive. The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the restaurant's location was convenient. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a casual dining option...

Read moreMy 2 grandsons chose pizza otherwise would not normally have chosen here. However I was very pleasantly surprised. The menu was quite varied. Both boys had lots to choose from and really enjoyed their meals. I chose a gluten free option and there was gluten free pizzas, pastas and desserts on menu. The reason I gave it 5 stars however was the excellent service. The staff were attentive, friendly and patient and made sure the children were happy. They were given pens and puzzles to do while their meal was prepared and we were asked if everything was all right throughout. Boys were so full could not eat their brownies so it was suggested they were boxed up to take home. There were smiles all round as the boys felt special. Would definitely bring...
