Gourmet Oriental Bishop’s Stortford — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

This is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in the UK! You may see the photo attached.

The first one with a lot of fat duck skin is from the dish called Red Thai curry duck. You will be lucky if you can see any duck meat in the dish, it feels like you've been delivered somebody's left over, extremely disgusting!!!

The second photo is a from a dish untouched, which is called, Kung Pao Chicken! I mean, really? You are messing up with this traditional Chinese dish. We all know what it should look like. This is obviously made by someone who doesn't know how to cook at all. Please, don't insult your customer you guys!

I have also ordered Thai soup called Seafood Tom Yum Soup, it's again insultingly bad, I don't know how to describe it to be honest. Maybe you should call it, "super hot salty water boiling everything you have in the kitchen all together" It's a huge joke.

Never known anything like it, first time going to this restaurant and expected it to be fairly okay but the main point of a restaurant is that they serve food, me and my partner went there for the buffet but we did not get a buffet experience, it was more like they was giving out rations, they would only put out enough food for one person and had to ask twice for more food for the buffet as they hardly put any food out when they did, it was like they didn’t want to put food out and it was like you was aloud 1 chicken wing, 1 satay chicken, each etc for £25 per person I honestly thought I’d been ripped off (I mean I have been) some of the food was okay but compared to other places below average, if they didn’t want waste they should of just let you order what you wanted to your table that would of been a fair way and I’m sure wouldn’t of amounted to more than £50 if you worked it out. Found a staple in my takeaway could have choked... Reported to food standards agency!! Absolutely horrified.

Was nervous about eating the food after did eat some as felt a waste but was cautious. Was only Luke warm and took hour and a half to come (just eat estimate 9.40 after ordering at 8.40 and arrived at 10:10pm.

Not going to bother hear again, went in to the restaurant and ate about a month or so ago also and thought the staff were generally quite rude and had no people skills. Thought would give it a second shot with a takeaway but that was a bad plan. We ordered our starters, finished it and what must have been half hour later we asked if we could order a main as they had seemed to have forgotten.
