So Saturday night we ordered 4 pizzas. Firstly let’s talk about the dough. It was great! Now let’s talk about the toppings…. This is where the pizza unfortunately lost its stars. Ordered a basic margarita. Doesn’t obviously have a lot of toppings apart from cheese and tomato… and basil. No basil?! What a shame. Couldn’t have popped to Tesco and grab a bag? Ordered a double pepperoni… it’s more of a single pepperoni. A scattered of maybe 8 pieces… Also I expect an evenly distributed pizza where every slice I’m getting what I ordered. Here we had two slices basically margarita. The four seasons pizza was spot on. Also… the pizzas arrived cold! So had to pop the oven on. Just thought I’d leave my feedback to help you progress and be better. Shame because you want to support local and small businesses but yet it’s half a job. Where you should be serving with pride knowing every pizza is your best possible work. Not ahhh that will do. Unfortunately won’t be ordering from here again. Sad because the dough was really good! Maybe if you sell just the dough I’ll make my own pizza-...

Food is good but they are consistently terrible at managing orders. It’s a 50/50 if you get your order on time or they forget you completely, leaving you waiting for close to an hour. This has happened to me 3 times now. What makes it worse is the insistence that it’s “just 5 mins away”. Never believe this, it’s a complete lie. They have no idea how to manage orders. If you get lucky and high roll being in the 50% they don’t mess up, it’s great. But it always feels like a risk to get food from them.

This order was done in person, at the restaurant. When they where mostly empty or low on order volume

edit: I've just read the reply from the restaurant where the owner seems to have lost his head. To be clear, this was an in person order, no delivery service was involved, blaming the poor service on another company may be an easy way to cope with the issue for him personally. But if anything this reinforces the point, take accountability for the shortcomings in the business, you do good food but your order...

We’ve journeyed across this incredible planet, savoring pizzas from the iconic streets of America, the adventurous corners of New Zealand, and the culinary heart of Italy. Yet, Petrucci’s in Eat 17, Bishop’s Stortford, ranks as one of the finest we’ve tasted in years—a true hidden gem.

Their pizza base is a masterpiece: light and delicate, yet sturdy enough to cradle every topping to perfection. The cheese stretches with that irresistible, stringy magic that only the best pizzas achieve. And those toppings? Pure artistry—fresh, flavorful, and undeniably satisfying.

Petrucci’s isn’t just a pizzeria; it’s a culinary treasure that brings passion and authenticity to every bite. If you haven’t experienced this slice of heaven yet, you’re missing out on something...

Love this place. Here several times a month. Great fresh pizza with good dough and toppings alongside a friendly service. They can occasionally get really busy (I waited 40 minutes for a calzone once - inside the restaurant!), but they will rectify it pretty quickly so be sure to mention it to them if it has been a while. Make sure you download the Magic Stamp app as this will afford you a free pizza after buying eight.

Only discover this awesome place on our last day of visit. The best pizza in town. We ordered the classic margherita and al tonne, and the taste was on point and perfect. The crust was hand-stretched and perfectly cooked. The waiting time was 9 mins from the time we placed our order, which was very reasonable. The service was good and friendly. Will definitely come back here again in our next visit.

I have eaten pizza all over Italy and all over New York. This is by far the best pizza I've ever tasted. You can tell they are using high quality ingredients and the dough is amazing. The calzone is exceptional but I wish you could get it on delivery. The last time I had a calzone I couldn't speak to anyone I was enjoying it so much I had to eat in silence
