Review for Ronnie's Restaurant in Essex
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ronnie's Restaurant in Essex, and it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is both elegant and modern, with lush green plants and stylish decor that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
For starters, I had the prawn cocktail, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It was the perfect way to begin the meal. For my main course, I opted for the lamb cutlets, which were cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The accompanying sides of parmesan chips, asparagus, and mushrooms were equally delicious and complemented the lamb wonderfully.
My two friends also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. One had a beef pasta dish, which was rich and hearty, while the other chose a different style of lamb that was equally succulent but prepared with a unique twist. Both dishes were beautifully plated and received rave reviews from my companions.
The attention to detail in both the food presentation and flavors is what sets Ronnie's apart. As seen in the photo, each dish looked as good as it tasted, with vibrant colors and generous portions that left us all satisfied but not overly full. The drinks were also on point—refreshing and well-paired with our meals.
Overall, Ronnie's Restaurant is easily one of the nicest restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting, not just in Essex but around the world. If you're looking for superb food, excellent service, and a great dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's definitely a gem that stands out in both quality...
Read moreHard to believe that we were dining in the same restaurant as the previous reviews describe. We had to wait an hour for our drinks to arrive, after chasing them constantly and asking where they were. The restaurant was full but we were told the reason we couldn't get our drinks was because they were so busy. We ordered pre starters of walnuts, bread and olives, which arrived but missing the bread. Again, we asked numerous times if we could have the bread and was told sorry but we are so busy. When it finally arrived it was certainly not worth the wait. What can only be described as squashed burger buns was presented, rather than some nice bread for dipping in the oil. Starters arrived ten minutes apart, but by this time we realised there was no point asking for the rest of them. My main course of chicken supreme was possibly the worst chicken i've eaten, dried up and chewy, I only ate it because I was so hungry. Ordered a side of buttered veg which looked like a medley of boiled veg and tasted of nothing. This restaurant promises superior service and quality which you would expect for the high end prices it charges. Sadly we received neither. Will not be coming back and would not...
Read moreThe food is brilliant at Roni’s. Great choice, beautifully presented and cooked. The service we received from the waitress and wine specialist was exceptional. Everything was great until we had a bad experience with the male manager who’s name begins with G. We got offered a complimentary round of coffees and lemon chelos after we had just ordered a round of them. I politely asked if instead of another round, we could just have what we already ordered taken off the bill instead (which I think is more than reasonable seeing as we’ve spent over £400 at this point). Anyways, the manager was very aggressive and wouldn’t let me get a word in to justify why I asked if it was okay to do this. I was actually very polite, but the manager wasn’t. He ended up throwing the bill onto the middle of the table after saying that he “didn’t like my attitude.” Because of this, we collectively refused to pay the service charge because of how shocked we were of how rude the manager was. Everything else great, manager nearly ruined a very good evening. Hats off to the chefs and waiters/waitresses however, genuinely a fantastic restaurant. Will be coming back...
