Nostimo Delicatessen LTD — Restaurant in East Hertfordshire

Was a regular customer but today will be my last visit I’m afraid . We ordered a scone with butter , when it came it had been warmed up ( we weren’t asked if we wanted it warmed ) i don’t know if it had been in a microwave but it was served with cold butter that wouldn’t spread and the scone disintegrated as we tried to butter it but even worse, it had a nasty taste to it and we couldn’t eat it . The lady took the rest out of the cabinet after we told her so there must have been an issue with them . We then ordered two mince pies which again came warmed up and broke up as we tried to eat them 🙄such a shame as it’s a nice clean place with pleasant staff but I don’t like soggy pastries so...

I miss this place a lot since I moved away from Stortford. The town has a pretty good selection of cafés and restaurants, but this is my favourite, you feel like you’re on holiday when you come here. A lovely place to bring friends. The hot drinks are wonderful, I especially love the hot chocolate, which is the best I’ve ever found in this country. The food items that I’ve had have been really good too, the last thing I had was the avgolemono which is the nicest chicken soup ever. Demetrius and his wife who own the café are so friendly. So wish there was a place like this in the town...

A truly delightful family run café in the middle of Bishop Stortford. The coffee is outstanding and they have a delicious range of cakes and ice cream although I try to restrict myself to the equally delicious but healthier, savory items on the menu They also sell items for Takeaway This is a really pleasant place to have a meal or a coffee and cake And we always get a friendly warm welcome and they will go out of their way to provide you your meal or snack the way you want it It’s definitely our favorite place to eat out in the daytime (closes at 6...
