Castle Coningsby — Restaurant in East Lindsey

It's a dive. Pure and simple. The toilets are an absolute abomination, it looks like a 3yr old had a party with glitter glue! The sinks have been painted gold, obviously with the wrong type of paint, as it's peeling off. It's not helped by the dead plant leaves scattered at the back of the sink, and the general filth everywhere. The rest of the pub looks great...from a distance. Loads of superhero cushions scattered around, an amazing Tardis door painted on the wall and some really cool memorabilia dotted around. It could be an awesome pub, quirky and interesting, but it's let down by the lack of cleanliness, and the fusty smell that permeates everything. I really want to like this pub, but the filthiness just makes me down my drink and wipe my feet on...

Best pub I have ever had the prevallidge to step foot into. You would never in a million years exspect what you 're going to find when you step inside. Fun,friendly quirky place that is exciting to look at every room,nut and cranny. We were staying in the area and 6 of us on a pub crawl. We came back twice to this one. I was fortunate enough to meet Amy the owner and hear first hand her inspiration behind this incredible place. Wonderful staff, great choice of drinks especially the shots and fun. Not the cheapest, music was quite loud (good if that's what you want, but not for me) actual choice of music was good. Decor was fun and quirky. Darts board and pool tables were always busy...
