**Edit** For the sake of fairness I am adjusting my review, specifically because I made an error, and had not realised an item incurred an additional cost. I would, however, like to point out that although I am appreciative of the response, it misses the point. I told the waitress that I wouldn't open the bill before speaking about my concerns as I didn't want the price of the meal to be assumed to be my issue. It wasn't. Furthermore I went to great lengths to NOT be rude to our waitress. I spoke quietly, I told her that I was happy with her service and I sat down - I did this because at 6'6" and 19 stone, I represent an intimidating figure at around 18" taller than she was. ** I don't particularly enjoy having to be the only person to post a low review score, but this is to reflect poor resolution of an issue and not the food, which was excellent. I dined yesterday at Flair Bistro with my family, and while the food was genuinely delightful, the service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. We arrived promptly for our 5:30 pm reservation and were seated immediately. The restaurant wasn't busy and had, maybe, 3 other tables occupied. Our orders were taken quickly, and the children's meals, along with our starters, arrived in a timely manner at 5:48 pm—so far, so good (I know the time it arrived as I took the photos attached, they looked good enough to eat!) Our issue happened after this brilliant start. To our dismay, it took a staggering 53 minutes for our main courses to be served after the starters. As a family dining with young children, this was particularly challenging. The kids had already finished their meals, and we found ourselves anxiously waiting for our main dishes while trying to keep the children entertained. By the time our meals finally arrived, we had to eat quickly, as they were understandably restless. While the waitress was polite and apologetic, she seemed uncertain about how to resolve the situation. She consulted with someone who I assume was the manager, who oddly enough, reviewed camera footage to verify the delay—an unusual approach that did little to improve the situation. It was explained that this isn't a typical circumstance to occur and that some miscommunication had also occurred, we were eventually offered a discount, but it felt insufficient given the circumstances. The discount applied only to the children's meals, which amounted to around £9.50 due to a promotional night. (This section contains my edit/error about pricing, for which I acknowledge my error). To make matters worse, we were charged separately for the scallops, my wife's starter, which should have been included in the "2-course set meal" we both ordered. It's a shame because the food was largely excellent. My daughters loved their pasta dishes, my son enjoyed his chicken goujons, and both my wife and I were utterly pleased with our starters. The main courses were good, my wife said that her Prawn Linguine was excellent. The ambiance was also lovely, and the restaurant was immaculate and inviting. However, the long wait, compounded by the inadequate response to our concerns, overshadowed the positives. A meal that should have been a special occasion, especially as it was a birthday dinner, turned into a stressful experience. Sadly, we won't be returning to Flair Bistro, and I would hesitate to recommend it to others, despite the quality of the food.

This was our first Flair Experience after looking to celebrate our anniversary whilst staying locally at Tattershall Lakes. We were certainly not disappointed! From the moment we walked in the service was exemplary, the atmosphere was warm an welcoming and the outside of the building couldn't have prepared us for the stunning interior. The food was out of this world and we both agreed that this was by far the best meal out we have had in a long time! The icing on the cake was the chocolate tart we were presented with at the end of the meal wishing us a Happy Anniversary. This was so unexpected but an amazing gesture and topped off an amazing evening! We are regulars at Tattershall Lakes and are already planning our next visit to Flair when we are next here in November. If you are considering booking Flair Bistro, make sure you try it asap, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Having not long moved to Lincolnshire, Flair Bistro was a restaurant we couldn't wait to try and it didn't disappoint! We had starters, mains and desserts as was our son's birthday and every single course was amazing! My husband, myself and our 20 year old son all said it's up there as one of the best meals we've ever eaten (and we've lived in 3 other counties south of Lincs!)The flavours and textures of our courses were stunning and the quality of the produce used 2nd to none. The service was very good too and we loved the decor and comfort of the restaurant. We loved it so much, we've also been back with friends and their opinion of everything was the same as ours! The owners of this restaurant deserve every success, as are clearly very talented!

Wow!! What to say about Flair?.. we went in a little last minute for my wife’s birthday after seeing Flair Bistro a couple of weeks before, what a great decision!! The food was great ,service was fab we were served by 2 young waiting staff both were very polite and helpful, very engaging and happy to make conversation . Price wise I would say for the quality of food is very reasonable. Great to be able to see and interact with the talented team of chefs, who greeted us on arrival. Nice selection of wines all in all a great experience and will definitely be going again would really like to try the Sunday roast in the near future… if I had to be very critical, which I think a restaurant of this standard deserves I would say the chips and onion rings that came with my lovely piece of steak appeared to be cook from frozen…still very nice and good quality but some homemade triple cooked would have made the meal absolutely faultless!!! The restaurant itself is a beautiful little building merging the classic features of the original building with very contemporary decoration resulting in a quality...

We visited Flair whilst we were staying at Tattershall Lakes which is barely a 5 minute drive from the restaurant.

I could not fault anything about our evening there, the service was exceptional, the food was well presented and cooked to perfection. Even our 3 year old said how nice her chicken nuggets and chips were. The biggest struggle we had was picking what to eat as everything on the menu looked and sounded so nice, we made sure to order different so we could try a bit of everything!!!

Whilst not a ‘budget’ restaurant it is certainly not overpriced and you can definitely say you get what you pay for. Both myself and my partner have experience working in the restaurant and hospitality trade and both loved the open kitchen, it was very clear that everyone knew what they were doing and worked well together, there was no stressing or shouting which we know can be commonplace in a kitchen!!!!

Thank you for an enjoyable evening, we will certainly be back if we are in...
