Mac's Cafe — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

I always like two eggs with a breakfast and despite having to pay £1 for an extra egg on the Jumbo Breakfast which does annoy me a little, it was overall still great value for money as teas/coffees are included! So, I'm happy to pay for an extra egg here! The total meal was £17 which is super value and makes it worth while choosing this place every time! 😊

This place has really friendly/polite staff and the food is fantastic! My Jumbo Breakfast was on the biggest plate I've ever seen! 😳 It was an amazing feast and we're really pleased we visited today as it's cured our hangover from last night! 😉

The food and place is average. I was expecting better after being told they are one of the best in Burton. The fried eggs were very undercooked(the yolk and top of the egg had not been splashed with oil obviously), the white of the egg should not be like jelly. For some reason they cut the sausages in half, so they end up being over cooked to death. I had a measly amount of beans, it must have been a teaspoon full. Morrisons restaurants are better if you want a tasty, evenly cooked breakfast. Their hash browns taste better too. I think the ingredients at Macs cafe must be budget,...

You'll be hard pushed to find a better full English breakfast in Burton.

Fair prices, restaurant always really clean and the staff are welcoming and happy to accommodate any request. It's worth noting that the breakfasts come with bread and butter as standard, however this can be swapped for toast for an additional 60p.
