I am leaving this review to thank Michelle and the team for hosting my 50th birthday on Saturday afternoon/evening. Michelle guided me through the whole event from start to finish with arranging the karaoke, catering, welcome drinks, decorations and more. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done professionally and with a touch of class 💫 The garden was a perfect location to celebrate my big day and my guests and myself had a fabulous time. Lovely traditional pub, wide range of Soft Drinks, Spirits, Lagers and very well kept real Ales. The staff are wonderful, friendly and a joy to chat with. The pub has had New Management, Michelle and Dave, it’s immaculate, very clean, beautiful outdoor Beer Garden with a lovely seated area undercover for Smoking. Sports are shown regularly, there is also a Dart board, traditional pub games and large screen under shelter in the Garden, it really has improved in many aspects. I can’t express on how much I was impressed by Michelle Keen, manager of the Oak & Ivy. Michelle went above and beyond when I asked if it was ok to use the pub as a wake after my brothers funeral. The pub was friendly and had a lovely atmosphere. It was a beautiful day and many of us were able to sit out in the garden. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, and the food that Michelle had produced was excellent and I am sure by the conversations that I heard she would be getting some new regulars, keep up the good...
