Sergeant Peppers — Restaurant in East Staffordshire

The food used to be great but quality really has gone down hill over the last three years. The pizza comes swimming in the box full of grease. Undercooked slop sometimes. It was beautiful food when I first started using peppers in 2010. But 2017 onwards it's got worse and worse. I hope it can raise its bar again to the quality it once was.

You cant complain face to face or by phone for fear having the order tampered with you just wouldnt know so it's not worth risking it just dont order or do. I never complain to fast food places hearing horror stories from elsewhere.

Peppers staff seem great though I doubt they would I'm not saying they would its just my fear what if so I dont complain.

I think the biggest problem at Sargent peppers is delivery I think they try to make as few deliveries as possible. So the driver goes on a long run dropping multiple orders and so if your towards the end your food will be a mess food presentation is a huge factor.

Burgers stuffed into boxes of soggy chips then left to sit sweating for 20+ minutes nobody wants to eat that but drunk teens. Pizza leaking grease then soaking it back up.

If you collect the pizza its I swear one of the best pizzas around. If they could deliver it in that same condition I would order weekly.

I haven't orderd for months now so disappointed with every order until deciding no more. But I miss their food but after reading the latest reviews I think I'll not bother again.

This is my only review because I'm annoyed I could have awesome food but nope I hope they see this and make the changes sell...

Ordered at 5pm! Received the food at 1950!!!

Phoned and chased order 3 times only to be told it's on its way. The delivery driver was given the wrong address and then drove round for I can only assume to be 40 minutes until they found us!

We were told we'd get a discount for it being late only to be told that they so kindly didn't charge us for delivery! How nice! Not!

The food wasn't even hot when it arrived even though apparently it was fresh! I ordered a doner kebab which came with quite literally one piece of lettuce and a dollop of mayonnaise. The Mrs had a burger and cheesy chips which were crammed into one box!

st peppers, WOW. recommeded by my old chum duncan, this is my holy worship place for hangover food and just any food. The very polite and very smart staff, especially the small blonde one will be seeing me whenever im hungry. ordered mozzerella sticks, the cheese oozed into my mouth, satisfying me with much pleasure. The staff are very hygenic as well which is a box ticked off. The pepperoni pizza was absolutely spectacular, who needs this gordon ramsey nonsense when you have st peppers. just a phone call away from your meal of dreams....
