Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in East Suffolk

I order from papa John's regularly but I had one yesterday that cost 40 ood pounds an it was awful I through it away , I generally am more than happy an really enjoy the food but this one has put me off the chicken bites we're hard not tender as usual , the pizza was cold an ingredients tasted hardly cooked the crust had a very bland taste it was horrible absolutely gutted as I normally really enjoy the crust dipped in sauce , also I was charged for 2 sauces because I couldn't change the sauce that came with it was garlic but I wanted BBQ, u would think spending that amount a sauce might be free I've never been charged before, my potatoe tots were burned cheese rock hard , I hope it was a one off but it's put me off , also papa John's did not have there own delivery driver now they had Uber dropping it off which I don't like I stopped using just eat an Uber as my food kept getting stolen or not brought at all .I never had a problem of it being cold Wen papa John's own delivery drivers...

Yet again disappointing. 3rd time in a row there’s been a “problem with the app” which after 30 minutes says the order is with you and enjoy, when in fact it’s not for a good further hour. I suspect this is something to do with internal targets but don’t know for sure. This 3 times is over a course of 6 months. On every call to the store they give us the excuse of the app. When food finally arrives you can tell it was cooked an hour ago and has lost all forms of heat. On 2 of the orders there has been missing or wrong pizzas which they ask to leave and come and collect, can only hope and pray they don’t then take these to the correct delivery address with the current...

Very very very slow.. they charge an extra £1 sometimes more for it to be delivered and it takes over 30 minutes to get a driver to do the delivery then about 55 minutes for the food to arrive when it is literally 5 minutes down the road. This had led beyond the store closing time and very disappointed.

Contacted the store and all I got was oh it is now on its way to you.. after 25 minutes of it stating on the app that it is with the driver 🤔.

Been about a year since last purchased from this location and it has reminded me why.

Pizza was not fresh when arrived. Very chewy and hard.

£25.50 straight...
