Went to Fisherman's Wharf as a family unit based on food recommendations. Sat outside, however food not being served (not the venues fault) two drinks were purchased, reentered to order further drinks informed that they were no longer serving. Went across the way to the far better new venue and got drinks returning to the outside seating. We were told that we could drink from other establishments (despite not serving us and in the process of closing) informed that the FW wasn't open to further orders and informed the same that we cannot drink there basically throwing out the family from the public pier! Read moreAmazing staff, amazing food. The drinks are very expensive but the food is underpriced.
I had a cheese and bacon burger which came with very big fresh homemade onion rings and salad and near on half a bag of French fries all cooked perfectly. The burger was huge and meaty and very appetising, no sauce in the burger but a nice selection of sauce on a carrier.
We also ordered a jacket potato with prawns, the tato was piled up high with juicy little prawns coated in MR sauce and came with a salad 🥗
Finally we ordered a sandwich which was also prawn and filled generously
Both the meals were accompanied with a large portion of onion rings for only £3.50
Drinks were appx £4 each but were definitely needed as portions...

All that is needed is a bingo session to make the customers feel at home. There are many nice pubs in Lowestoft- this is not...
