The Black Dog Deli Walberswick — Restaurant in East Suffolk

My sylph like appearance belies my love of pastry products so when visiting Walberswick I thought we should have lunch at The Black Dog Deli. The deli itself is quite small as is Thier bill of fare, but it all looks gorgeous. There is no indoor seating but some outside and as the weather was fine chose to sit there. I started with a flat white and the coffee is acceptably strong and full of flavour, really good. We then shared a goats cheese, broccoli and caramelised red onion quiche,. I made my partner travel from Bournemouth to The Black Dog Deli after finding them on IG by way of Charlie Mackesy. Truly the best food and people ever. We ordered their sausage rolls and quiche as well as their ham & cheese croissants and lattes. They were all fabulous and delicious! Everything is carefully made and tasted so good that we had a fight over the sausage rolls on the way home. Sarah, Soren, and Tynam were just absolute gems and so kind. Great little place with lots of good food/delicatessen. The tables outside were under a nice sunshine...very lovely. The home baked sausage rolls were to die for. Even my "vegetarian" son couldn't help to have a bite and insisted on finishing it. We nearly had a fight. He is 9 years old and I am 16 stone...phew!! Scotch eggs were great, the sour dough amazing and freshly made, Copy Cloud cheese and all of it was perfect. Charming couple especially the beautiful Italian land lady. Keep up the good work guys.
