If you have any sort of disability i would not recommend this hotel ... unless there were hidden ground floor rooms everything is a narrow winding staircase away.. and if you have no sense of direction it's a maze ! ||Apart from that the rooms are very clean, very spacious, with irons tea facilities a tv and a lovely big shower (some rooms have a bath too)... |Obviously there are rooms that over look a noisy garden seating area and Spoons have late closing... |I would add although they offer 2 pillows each they are a puff of air so not very comfy ... ||We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and were staying for the bank holiday (parachute jumping 1st thing on the Monday 10 mins away) so just the one night .. we parked in the square outside which states = only one hour parking Monday to Saturday ... so we asked reception was this OK to leave overnight and she didn't really know ... we did and it was fine .. but like I say we left by 815am..||Lovely little place want to go back and visit properly ...||Food was obviously cheap and lovely..|Breakfast was cold and we were the only people there at 7am ! Read moreI always wonder how Wetherspoons manage to do so many things well, for prices way less than anybody else. More of that presently. Despite it only being 1130, the place was already packed, but just as I arrived to meet my guest, a couple vacated a lovely little table in the window, so I nabbed it and went in search for my friend. Once settled, I used the 'Spoons' app to order and, despite the hordes, drinks arrived almost instantly. It transpired that Thursday is the curry club day, so we both chose that. Rita, 90 in September, chose chicken korma and I opted for beef madras. Both arrived speedily with naan bread and a couple of poppadoms. The deal included drinks. Rita had a lime and soda and I chose an alcohol free Stella. Total bill for that lot, £22.98. Not only was it incredible value, the curries and accompaniments were all excellent, served really quickly and piping hot. Sticky toffee puddings with extra sauce and ice cream added another £8.40.
