Tiffins café, — Restaurant in East Suffolk

We popped in an asked for a coffee and a tea and a toasted teacake. There were no other customers so all of the tables and chairs were empty. We were told that if we did not want any hot food (obviously a toasted teacake does not count) we would only be served takeaway drinks as he needed to keep the tables free for customers who wanted food. I turned around to look at the empty cafe and said I can see you are full and then left.

Update following the owner's response - The proprietor is quite correct, I did not notice the notice in the window or on the counter. What I did notice is the name of the establishment - Tiffins Cafe - and expected service like any other cafe. Have used this cafe many times for both takeaway and eat in. The food is very good and well cooked The owners are friendly and helpful .
