Plenty of seating inside and outside . some of outside is under cover so no worry about seagulls. Wheelchair access. A variety of hot and cold food. Including dinner meals, snacks and desserts. The staff were polite enough. Limited communication. The person who cleared away the plates was very polite. We had small and large breakfasts. The mushrooms were shrivelled , as they look when left in a fridge to long. They didnt taste good. The beans looks like they had been cooking for a long time, smushy. I can tell they are not a branded bean. Hash browns are ok, doesnt taste fried. could have more flavour. The sausages were ok. Bacon cooked well and crispy which i like. Perfect eggs. Standard toast. Overall i enjoyed most of it and the two other people with me said they enjoyed it. All looks very clean and not greasy. I have previously had nice cheese toastie from them which i enjoyed. They have a choice of cold drinks including alcohol. a display with some cakes. Disabled toilet is clean. Located in the town centre so its a perfect stop off. I will be...
Read moreraditional cafe atmosphere in a modern, clean setting which at first glance from the outside, doesn't look like its the case. Spacious comfortable seating and this was during a Sunday lunch time. Staff were friendly and helpful, service was quick but didn't feel rushed. Ordered Sunday roast lamb; very nice, great value for money. One of us had the full breakfast which looked, and, I'm told, was just as good. Saw a few other plates going out to tables which, as full as I was, managed to make the glutton inside me want more, everything looked delicous. The only way to improve on my plate, (Roast lamb) would have been to add a couple more roast potatoes but thats only because I love roast potatoes as much as Cookie monster loves cookies. I can assume they have a lot of return clientel so whether you're from town, out of town or Mars, here, your'e going to get great food at...
Read moreI came looking for a full English breakfast and was not disappointed. The cafe is prominent on the high street opposite the beacon shopping centre. The cafe is mainly English staples, you can get a roast or pie etc. And a nice selection of cakes. The coffee and tea is comprehensive too. I sat outside since there are lots of outside seating. My large breakfast was ordered at the counter was just under a tenner with a cup of tea extra at £2.40. I think this should be thrown in for a large breakfast so the total came to just under £13. The staff were all extra friendlyi had the pleasure of meeting Ronnie, the owner who was really friendly and made sure I was OK. All in all I will be back as the location and food...
