Urban Ground — Restaurant in Eastbourne

Used to love it in the begining. Since they opened the one in south street and sent all the nice staff in there I hate coming to meet someone in this coffe shop in Bolton road. staff in here can come across rude. They keep mistakes with the orders bringing to the table wrong sandwiches and wrong drinks.. they don't like it when we send something back because it's not what I ordered. This is my favourite spot to go on my own or with a friend for a quiet lunch. Today however, I took my toddler and baby. Very little on the menu for such small people but they demolished a cheese scone which after sneaking a small piece off my toddlers plate I can confirm it was delicious 😋 high chairs and plenty of space for pushchairs (I had a double). Coffee not great. I found it quite harsh and bitter. I also had a crab and salad ciabatta-type sandwich which was distinctly average but not cheap - about 5 quid. Not a lot in sandwich, either. The place is nice and has decent Wi-Fi, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt since I've only been there once.
