Boswells — Restaurant in Eastleigh

Very nice to look at However When I went to get my food The prices were a tad confusing in they are not very helpful as they seem to show not one Not two. But three different prices for the same item after that I was asked what I would like to eat And given a number and asked to take a seat and that it would be brought over to me which was really nice to here. However as Boswell's was very busy I had to look for a table And the only two person table was at the back of the room Which was not a problem as there were more tables but I didn't like to take as they were for Four people and as I happened to be on my own I didn't want to take up a table for Four The problem arose when I went to set at this table it was a bit small and I assumed it was for a Child but as there were not any two people tables left I stayed there to wait for my food which shortly arrived but when it arrived it was put on the table rather hard and as such it was spilt out on the table and the lady that did that said something like you can get that later. (( Not funny)) The person who had put it on the table I later found out was the Manager But thankfully the people who were next to me asked me if I would like to have there table as they were about to leave So thankfully that helped methuen as I was enjoying my food a waitress came over to clean up the table that I had been sat at So out of politeness I told her that I had not made the mess on the table And explained how it happened the young lady was very helpful and polite ( Her name was Beth ) and I think that Boswell's are very lucky to have staff so happy and polite ( perhaps they could give the Manager's some pointers on their PR skills However the Manager in question did come back to me and apologise and gave me a Coffee as an apology So Thankyou Boswell's I will be back again Thankyou ...

Situated in the Swan centre in Eastleigh the place was very busy. You can see why while queuing up to place your order you can see a selection of all the savoury foods on display followed by sweet selections that makes it very inviting. I see many people order the all day breakfast that looks fresh. But I fancied the look of the festive menu and went with the turkey club sandwich, along with gingerbread latte and bowl of chips. The menu failed to mention or I missed it that the sandwich came with tortilla chips so I did over order.

The staff were all very friendly, fast and efficient. Service with a smile. The sandwich was delivered to the table and it was very full to bursting with lettuce leaking out the side. There is a generous amount of turkey, bacon, lovely oozy brie and cranberry sauce sandwiched in 3 slices of toasted bread. A big bite is needed to get a taste of it all but definitely a classic combination done right. The chips were pretty standard fair, portion was good and the gingerbread latte hit the spot.

Very nice, I will certainly visit again to try other items...

I come here with my daughter every time we are in the Swan centre. The staff are so friendly and kind, especially Bobbie and Ali, they are brilliant!

My favorite meal is the pesto mushroom baguette and my daughter absolutely loves the hash browns and smoothies! We always get the green one 😋

Although there are more vegan options than some places in Eastleigh, the menu could be better, especially for children. My daughter would love to be able to have one of the fun lunch boxes! And we would love to see more vegan cake or sweet options instead of just the packet ones.

Bobbie is also always super happy to help me if I want to make up a sandwich or something that is a bit different from what's on the menu.
