Prezzo Italian Restaurant Eastleigh — Restaurant in Eastleigh

Me and my family were looking forward to this evening meal yet we were left fuming and disappointed. We only ordered mains and tap water yet this took ages for it to arrive. When our mains eventually arrived, we weren’t asked if we wanted any cheese on our pasta dish or any sauces with the burger. The sea bass was awful. We had an allergy at the table so the manager had to take our order yet even the manager got the order wrong. We asked to swap the gnocchi to fries but when this came out the peas were missing, the fries were cold and the sea bass was tiny and looked like something from Asda. When we asked to get this redone we all felt uncomfortable as the chefs and staff kept looking at us in a mocking manner. After waiting ages again for the food to be corrected, the fries with the sea bass were still undercooked. Whenever we were discussing anything with the waitress (young lady with the glasses) she was so insincere I felt like I wasn’t being talked seriously. We asked for the sea bass (which is £19.50) to be taken off and we were only given £13.25 off. We questioned this with our waitress who kept stating how they had taken the £13.25 off but eventually screwed up the receipt as she walked off. She eventually gave us the receipt with the correct amount. Don’t think I will ever be going to a Prezzo a gain and makes me wonder how people actually...

Visited this restaurant yesterday with my family. Ordered portion of meatballs and spaghetti for my two children. However, the meatballs contained blue plastic mixed inside their meat.

When raised with a staff, they were sincerely sorry and offered a replacement but we kindly declined as I didn't want to risk my children eating micro plastic... The dish was instead replaced with a dessert.

But putting this aside, it is deeply concerning that plastic is contained within their food they are serving... Had I not broken the meatballs down for my children to eat, they may have not noticed and eaten the meatballs...

I also feel that there wasn't enough staff to provide the quality services you'd expect. We waited and waited up to the point I had to get up to the bar to inform the staff of the plastic in the meatballs because the one staff that was serving at the time didn't have enough capacity at the time. Same with the bill, we waited until the point I went up myself to request...

Unfortunately on this visit quite disappointed. We felt we were rushed when we wanted to spend time enjoying a meal out. The waitress took our order of olives to go with a cocktail each, to be followed by our pasta meal and wine and chose to bring it all at the same time!! We felt they were trying to turn the table but we had booked and wanted to enjoy the meal at our pace.

The olives, as usual were great. However the crab and lobster pasta had tough pasta and a so-called lobster bisque sauce which left something to be desired..When we said we had wanted the main after the olives they offered to take the main away (which presumably meant to keep warm till we wanted it which was not what we wanted). Thus we were eating pasta and olives together- not an ideal combination. The desserts were fine as were the dessert cocktails we chose.

All told we felt we were constantly pushed to finish the meal and although the service was thorough we could not relax and enjoy the meal...
