Katarina's Day and Night — Restaurant in Eastleigh

Sat in Katarina now as I'm writing this. So far the customer service is particularly bad as the first thing we got was an unwelcoming death stare by 2 young girls which were front of house staff. Seems to be damaging if they were to crack a smile....... Waiting for food for a further update but there is also at least a polite lady who has served us at the till and been the expected typical polite customer service person. Now waiting on on food for further comment: Food was quite good. Can't knock the cook. A real shame that first impressions are paramount to most businesses and judgements. Unfortunately neither I or my companions will be dining here again due to the unwelcoming ignorance of the front of house staff but the food was good. Hope the owner reads this for there benefit more than the customers. May help realise some of the issues out front to be able to fix. Nice looking place, good food, bad...

Staff ok and polite enough breakfast awful cooked in deep fat fryer thrown onto your plate with absolutely 0 time to drain any excess fat . Cut into the sausage and oil just poured onto plate like i was cutting into a chicken Kiev was really disappointed as so many good reviews thought we would try it. I've never not eaten something I've bought before from a cafe before was really frustrating spending money on something explaining ur not happy with it then after taking the food back to be ignored as if your in the wrong for explaining politely your not happy was 0 offer of refund and seeings as only ate one bite each was extremely apparent we...

I'd never heard of or seen this place and only discovered it whilst looking for a parking spot.

My original plan was to have breakfast at the local Wetherspoon pub, but due to the parking situation, I ended up parking outside Katarina's.

I ordered the large breakfast with a free cup of tea or coffee. I believe I paid £7.10. The food was amazing value and they only use fresh ingredients...their bacon is the best I've tasted in a long time.

Super friendly and efficient staff, who work hard to make you feel welcome. I know that I've found a new favourite...you should make it yours.
