POPPINS CAFE RESTAURANT EASTLEIGH — Restaurant in Eastleigh

Genuinely shocked at our experience today. A waitress who quite clearly didn't want to be at work on Bank Holiday Monday, a family using the kids for their customer service and a 20 minute wait for a sausage roll and toasted sandwich to take away. The restaurant was very quiet so they weren't in a rush and when my other half asked where our food was after 15 mins and 2 other customers being served before us and arriving after us, he was told 'a few minutes.' after waiting more and complaining about the wait all he got was a 'sorry' - for a small family run restaurant they clearly didn't want to retain customers! Def not going...

Really surprised as to what has become of this place. It's was not welcoming, no one to take order, the one who came after repeated calls was not even interested in speaking to us and was treating us in a discriminated way.. the order was all over the place. Asked for water which was not given till we had to ask for it thrice. We are paying customers , he was speaking with smile to next table customers but was looking at us like we are not welcome or we we getting free food.. never going back to this racist discriminating...
