The flying boat cafe — Restaurant in Eastleigh

**UPDATE Unfortunately on my last visit I was denied onion rings once again. I was told the people eating the drive through in the cafe only had onion rings as decoration, and because I was taking away did not qualify. I pointed out if the rings were eaten they are not decoration. Had enough of this nonsense, so have boycotted since and will not be returning with my everyday business. Onion gate. Cheap skates.

*UPDATE Whilst trying to repeat said Drive through burger last week, I was denied onion rings, as I was taking away. I could see the onion rings on the seated drive through eaters. Luckily not Rachel overheard and I got my onion rings. All good in the end.

We found this place nearby the Marina we were working at. Food selection was great and service was quick and friendly. I saw the jacket potatoes on the menu with options of cheese and tuna. I had to try it. The jacket potato (baked potato) was served with a nice amount of cheese and tuna fish (as you would prep it for a sandwich). On the plate was also a serving of salad greens. The flavor combination was fantastic! At this sitting I also had a scotch egg and an Americano. Lunch was quick, inexpensive and filling. We will be making it back...

Was searching for a place to eat and this place popped up.I don't normally leave reviews but this place is something else. The place is lovely and cosy .The staff Ian and Ben are so friendly. We got bacon baps and were delicious.The coffee is amazing. The service is great.The menu choices are great .we saw brownies on the menu and had to try .They were melt in your mouth delicious The food is reasonable .This place is a must place to visit .A hidden gem that everyone should go .You won't be disappointed .5...
