Top notch, i must admit we walked in on a quiz night right at the music part.

However, we got greeted by the bar staff/owner and told that it wont last long.

it was a great experience to walk in to a pub and get such a friendly greeting. getting served immediately by an attentive team and very friendly.

Even got greeted by the pub (i think owned by the pub) Cat and Dog.

Absolutely loved it and will be back soon

All I can say is; A proper pub and pub atmosphere. They don’t do food but that’s why it feels like a proper pub. Not one of these lost it’s way with food pubs where there are chips all over the floor etc. Nice place to have a cold pint (or two) and unwind. Hope this pub never shuts. Great beers etc, friendly 'proper' independent pub, which is really great as this kind of pub is becoming very rare! Lots of local history. You can tell the owners put their hearts into this pub and how it's run. Even the loos are up there with the nicest pub loos I've ever experienced (and I've seen a lot!). In fact... I think I'll head there now...
