It's alright for what it is - The coffee is 200 Degrees Beans which are always a good blend. The menu is, naturally, mostly cheese based/themed - but £7 for cheese on toast and £8 for some luke warm three bean chilli nachos, particularly when the cheese in the gift shop is very reasonably priced, is a bit of a stretch

Lovely coffee shop, great view, next to the cheese tasting too...

Cafe does not allow dogs indoors, which is fine, however if you’re sat outside to eat you will be attacked by swarms of wasps. Spoke to the person in charge who very helpfully pointed out that ‘we can’t control the wasps’. Which is very true however we were left with £23 worth of food which we couldn’t eat due to their policy of not being allowed inside with a dog. Offered 50% off our food and some takeaway bags to go and eat the food -which had swarms of wasps crawling all over it - elsewhere. One staff member commented that ‘we’ve been having problems with them for ages’ so the place is well aware it is an issue and yet is quite happy to take money from people for food they know you won’t be able to eat. Disgraceful establishment which treats its customers with disdain. Either allow dogs inside, or at least have a section where dogs or allowed, or warn customers in advance of the wasp problem. The 2 bites of the cheese scone I managed to...

So, what a BIG disappointment this place was! Firstly we saw nice fresh cheese scones on the counter and nice large slices of carrot cake in the display unit. We asked if we could have the cheese scones warmed with butter... "No" was the reply, "only if you buy them with the cheese and chutney " (An extra £1.50)!! So obviously we HAD to order with the higher calorie and price choice! Then the carrot cake, well although the slices on display were large and hence possibly worth the £2.95 the slice if carrot cake we ended up with was teeny in comparison! obviously hiding out of our sight that the assistant scooped hastily on to a plate capable of taking the FULL size version. Finally the Cappuccinos, well just not hot enough by a long way! By the time our warmed cheese scones arrived a few minutes later, the Cappuccinos were stone cold. This place use to be a favorite of ours, but...

A bit like how much money can we take off you, staff don't seem to really want to be there. Sticky tables, probably not been washed down for quite a while. Food overpriced, barely warm (the microwave must be broken). Asked for oat/soy milk and was given curdled cow milk - luckily I prefer oat/soy milk and am not allergic to dairy otherwise that would have been...
