1905 Coffee & Kitchen — Restaurant in England

This review is based on my own true experience visiting stollers 1905 coffee and kitchen in Barrow. Not being local and visited this place on a few occasions recently I had a poor experience. I went to the cafe when it was very quiet and some of the staff were behaving unprofessional and very rude. Customers like to come to enjoy and relax this was not a good time to relax. I had sent a email to the store asking management to contact me regarding my experience and I got a rude reply. One of the managers replied to me saying I should have made my complaint at the point of visit! Excuse me I’m the customer you have no right to say this to me or anyone. It’s up to the customers to complain how they wish. The manager continued to write without any resolution for myself, that the MD is aware and is happy with the resolution! This is proof and true. I don’t care about what the MD thinks it’s customers who pay for good and services not you. I have been discriminated by this company due to my background. Worst service I have ever experienced in the world on top of rude and arrogant management who think they are above other people. That is why i personally know many business and families don’t shop with you I experienced the worst service myself. God is above all and how you’ve treated me and others will come back to you. Stollers cafe used to be one of our favourite places to eat. Recently it’s really gone down hill. Stood with 2 other groups waiting to be seated for at least 10mins. Took another 10 mins for someone to take our order. Food came out before the hot drinks and when the food came it was a disappointment. Tuna and cheese toasties weren’t even melted and were barely warm… truffle and Parmesan chips didn’t have any Parmesan on them either. Tables were full of previous customers pots, just no sense of urgency from the staff. Would’ve mentioned it to the staff member who took our payment but she didn’t ask. Really disappointing as it used to be one of the best places in barrow to get a decent bite to eat. £30 for cold toasties...

I went to 1905 on a quiet Sunday afternoon to treat myself to some lunch. I’ve never been out for lunch on my own before so I was quite anxious, however I was served by the most lovely lady, who instantly made me feel comfortable. I ordered the Caesar Bagel.
