Peace And Loaf Sourdough Pizza — Restaurant in England

Big fan of wood fired pizzas, for me the base on my pizza was overdone, the bottom was quite burnt, and I'm not a fan of the type of pepperoni they use, the garlic bites aren't garlicky enough, I could only taste the rosemary and salt

This is just to my personal taste though, clearly everyone else very much enjoys the pizza so I'd encourage anyone to try for themselves

When my car broke down in Windermere 3 days ago and had to be towed to Barrow to be fixed I wasn't very happy. Then I remembered about this place, somewhere that I'd followed on instagram for a while, drooled over the food, but never had a chance to visit. So this morning when I picked up my car I popped in and bought sourdough, the most amazing black forest cookie, rich brownie and delicious sticky gingerbread. Called in after a walk with my two nieces. The coffee was possibly the nicest I have tasted & piping hot. Didn't eat but will be visiting for their Saturday pizza night as the menu for that looked delish. The staff were all very nice & friendly and the atmosphere was nice & relaxed.
