Ali's Brasserie — Restaurant in England

Last night we visited this restaurant as a party of 6. (Max the Govt. recommend)

No complaints about the food at all, or the service, but I will not be returning as the restaurant do not follow Govt. guidelines, oh apart from the door was open and there was hand sanitiser by the door, which had no alcohol in, so would not rely on this to kill off any bugs at all!!

There was a party of all males of at least 12 on one long table getting up and down from the table to go outside, passing other guests. They were very noisy and couldn’t care less about the rules. The staff did nothing to make us feel comfortable, even after I passed comment! They just kept serving them MORE beers!! There was also another big group of men all very well behaved I might add, close to us with no screens!!

I felt uncomfortable. We have been eating out lately and the tables have been spaced out with screens between us in one place. The staff have asked for contact details, which is good. Last night the staff picked up on our concerns and came over for a contact number and name from us. The page was blank, apart from our details, I suspect they did not ask the other 2 large groups, one of the groups had already left by this stage.

I will report this restaurant because I feel they should be more...

Gutted to be leaving this review as I have had good take aways from here previously, but this evening after waiting an hour to collect our food, we get home to find the chicken is completely raw, like pieces weren't even cooked even a little bit and being 30 weeks pregnant I wouldn't even risk eating the rest of the food. I called up and they ask me to bring the food back, as the food was all dished out and packaging thrown away I just took the raw pieces of chicken back to show. What annoyed me the most is I had absolutely no apology, no one looked as though they even cared or ashamed to serve food that could make someone seriously sick. Had I received an "we are so very sorry, we will inform the chef and make sure this doesn't happen again" I probably wouldn't have left this review. I was given the option for them to re do our order, Um no thanks, or receive credit towards our next order, definitely won't be back thanks! They did give me a full refund, and then not even a goodbye...

Absolutely incredible curry! I have had curry's all over the world and with no exaggeration this is the best tasting quality Indian food we've ever eaten , the dansak and garlic chilli chicken is incredible, the food is cooked slow and to perfection, never had a bad stomach from Ali's. 10/10 for service and food quality.Its actually that good that you won't go anywhere else again, after going to our old curry house when ali's was fully booked there was just no comparison,only problem is make sure you book a table on a Monday as it's banquet night and it's always fully booked so you can't just turn up and dine .
