Absolutely awful. Our table was booked for 6pm and by 7:30pm despite having ordered our food within 20 minutes of arrival there was still no sign of our food. The 2 other parties in the restaurant who were there before us, had not been served food either. Also, the lady who took the order was multitasking and also delivering takeaway???? Couldn't score them a 0 as much as I would like to and can't possibly comment on the food as our party of 7 didn't get any!!!!. First visit, on my birthday, with my husband. Restaurant very nice inside & was fully booked. Staff very welcoming. Extensive menu. We had shish kebabs & vegetable samosas as our starters. Excellent. Then chicken Tawa & vegetable Balti with a chappati & peshwari nan. The latter two were very nice. The Tawa was very red, with a lot of sauce. My husband is used to a dark, dry Tawa, which he personally preferred but he did eat most of it. My Balti had quite a lot of oil, in the sauce, which personally, spoilt it for me. Awful take away experience! We’d placed the order at 4pm to be ready for 7.15pm. We turned up at 7.15pm and waited 45minutes. The owner was incredibly rude and kept saying 5 minutes which turned into the 45 minutes. We demanded money off but he just got a bottle of rose (which we don’t drink) out of the fridge, gave it to us, said sorry and went straight back into the Kitchen. He was not apologetic throughout the time and kept lying about how long we’d actually be waiting… at least tell the truth as we had family/kids waiting in the car.
