Technically not "dine-in" as it's more of an outdoor cafe and the seating is all open air, but it's hard to beat the view or atmosphere here. There's no access by vehicle and it's a steep walk down and up so it's tricky to get down to if you have mobility issues, but I'd recommend visiting if you like to sit by the sea or having good food. Like, really good food. The Big Rock Burger was one of the best I've had. The prices aren't the cheapest, but they're definitely not the most expensive, especially for the quality of what you get. I even got items that aren't technically on the menu. Couldn't fault the service.
Anstys Cove isn't a sandy beach, or even a beach you can really sit on. Want to paddle board, swim, kayak, scuba dive, snorkel, or just throw stones? This is great and the cafe makes it 100x better.

Read moreMe and my partner call it a little piece of paradise! It's the most beautiful beautiful little cove with kayaks and paddleboards to hire also sun loungers too. The cafe is excellent with a wide range of food, drinks and snacks, it's also licensed to sell alcohol! Jeff and Lucy the proprietors and all the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is first class. We often go down there for a full English breakfast 😋 or lunch and sit and look out to sea and enjoy the spectacular view. The Cove does have a small beach at low tide too.
So if you can manage the steep decent down, there are steps, and the walk back up, I manage it and I find walking difficult, it is well...
