Attended here for the last day of eat out to help out and unfortunately had a poor experience. We ate as a group of 6 and I ordered the battered chicken for starter which was much too oily to enjoy and I left most of it. Secondly my main course I ordered a burger. On eating half it was bright red in the middle. I did complain and they were very understanding and helpful - they explained that it was cooked and probed and I honestly believe them however by this point I was put off eating. The chef did come and apologise too explaining it was the dye used in the meat but to me and my party it looked like raw meat. Unfortunately I think I attended on an off day.... Would I visit again? I wouldn't. I left having only eaten half of...

This place was a proper little treasure trove we found completely by accident on a detour to a hotel nearby, we originally thought of stopping somewhere for a really light bite as we knew we would be eating later on at our hotel. Walking in it looked like any other pub/restaurant, but stepping outside to their beer garden at the back we were taken to a little meditarranean hideaway, you really could have been anywhere in the world, it had a beautiful Italian courtyard feel and was the perfect spot for lunch on a sunny day. Service was great and the food was really delicious and all proper homemade. The Olive Grove is somewhere I'd love to visit again, definitely somewhere with pleasant...

We are so happy that we held my husbands birthday dinner here. There were 11 of us who had never been, but all live locally and had heard good things.

From booking with them to bringing the cake to the table, the service was top notch. The food - not one complaint as everyone was loving it.

The only thing we would want in the future is some beer, such as John Smith or Guiness for those who don't drink lager.

What a lovely night and we will be back.

Back again many time. Still hoping for a beer or ale as my husband doesn't drink lager and doesn't care for cider but food...
