Baffi in Southbourne is a haven for pizza enthusiasts, offering what many consider to be the best pizza ever. This charming pizzeria brings an authentic taste of Italy to the heart of Southbourne, combining traditional methods with top-quality ingredients to create an unforgettable dining experience.

The pizzas at Baffi are the stars of the show, with their perfectly crisp yet chewy wood-fired crusts that provide an ideal base for an array of delectable toppings. Each pizza is handcrafted with passion and precision, ensuring a delightful balance of flavors in every bite. The Margherita, with its rich tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil, exemplifies simplicity done right, while more adventurous options like the Diavola, topped with spicy salami and chili, cater to those seeking a bit of heat.

Baffi’s commitment to using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients is evident in the vibrant taste of their pizzas. The combination of high-quality produce, artisanal cheeses, and authentic Italian meats results in a pizza that is both hearty and refined.

The cozy, inviting atmosphere of Baffi Southbourne, coupled with its friendly and attentive staff, enhances the overall experience. Whether you’re dining in or taking away, the consistent excellence of Baffi’s pizza makes it a standout choice. For anyone in Southbourne, Baffi is a must-visit, promising a pizza experience that is nothing short of...

I absolutely love this place—especially because they have two branches near my favourite beach spots: Hengistbury Head and the Poole/Sandbanks area.

This time, we weren’t too peckish, so I ordered just dessert. I’ve always been curious about their Nutella pizza. It sounded like it could either be a total hit or a complete miss—like something the chefs experimented with one day in the kitchen and unexpectedly fell in love with. I did too. I ate it so quickly! I was surprised it wasn’t overly sweet despite the generous Nutella spread—it had the perfect balance of savoury, perfectly cooked dough and rich chocolate-hazelnut flavour.

Of course, I also came for their freshly made tiramisu—divine and easily my favourite dessert on their menu.

Tip: I recommend sitting near the bar. The seats at the back, near the oven, can get quite hot and humid.

The staff were lovely and very attentive, and the restaurant itself has a beautiful rustic charm. It’s a popular spot, so I highly recommend...

I visited Baffi on Monday 23 September 2019 at 7pm, a weekday during term time. I was with four other people. This was my first visit. I used Google Maps to find the restaurant, which was easy and led me straight to the right place.

I parked in the street right outside the restaurant, there is plenty of on-street parking locally.

The restaurant comprises of one relatively small main dining area with a small number of tables and a bar. The restaurant offers at table service.

The team were friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and enjoyed the experience.

The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily.

Overall I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely...

Came here after visiting the beach with my husband and 2 children as we read they do great pizza. I can say we were not disappointed, the restaurant itself is not that big, but inside was nice and comfortable, the service was good also, the menu was set up well with kid options on pasta or pizza which is great! The pizzas were as we had read, beautiful done, pretty big and tasty, the pesto pasta was done beautifully too. We will definitely be back again. As a treat we ordered the chocolate pizza for dessert, was lovely and we had never had this before! Highly recommend this place for pizza lovers or for anyone 👌

Absolutely not real Italian, and definitely not Neapolitan pizza. What a disgrace. The customer service was downright pathetic — the so-called “manager,” a rude blonde girl with a nasty attitude, couldn’t care less. We pointed out that our pizza was burnt to a crisp, and she casually shrugged it off, blaming it on the pizza guy “not being Italian and not knowing how to make them properly.” What an absolute joke of a place. Avoid it unless you enjoy burnt dough and arrogance on the side.
