Popped in this morning with my son for a couple of bacon and cheese panini's after reading about this place on Facebook . It has a really cool decor with a nice Mid Century/ retro vibe . Really pleasant lady serving us , attractive and friendly ( always a winner with me ! ) nice and quick , clean , well presented and tasty ... really pleased with my first visit . It's location next to Poole Park makes it a nicer option than the cafe in the Park , in my opinion too ... This place deserves to succeed in a tough industry as they have created a lovely little...

Needed a coffee shop to meet with friends. The Kitchen in Poole Park was closed so we wandered out of the park and settled for a window seat in Happy Beans. Never been before but the 4 of us were all pleased with the welcome we received. This was matched by the quality of the service, the drinks and the cake. Came in after college for a milkshake and cake. I loved the cake though the milkshake wasn't what I expected. It tasted a little like Greek yogurt which would be fine if the flavour I asked for was more pronounced, though I should have asked what milk they use. Overall, a lovely café, great cake but I personally don't like the milkshake. I'll be returning...
