Manara Grill — Restaurant in Great Britain

Would not recommend and shan't be returning. Took the table sitting next to us to grab the attention of the server walking by them so we could order drinks. My partner ordered rice with his meal, and got given chip, we got the attention of the server and reported this fact, she responded with ok, and he still never received his rice, we had no check back, and if we had I would have told them that my chicken was too salty. I complained to the barman, to which when we were given the bill, no complimentary discount. I queried this, which then the manager had come out, i then had to explain again and the poor sevice, we were never given an apology and the manager knocked £7.50 off the total bill, which i thought was a rude gesture!! On a recommendation from a friend we went in for a late lunch. Wow we're we surprised by the choices on the menu, we started with a selection of meze dishes and moved onto a meat platter. With hindsight the meze would have been enough for a lunch with a few beers ( Lebanese beer is wonderful). We ate what we could of the meat platter and they packed up the rest for us to take home. The service was very friendly and attentive and informative about how the dishes were cooked. We had such a wonderful experience at this Lebanese restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared, from the starters all the way to the desserts.
