Having been to this restaurant multiple times (the last time being a very long time ago), me and my partner were looking forward to the meal we had booked, however we ended up being beyond disappointed. I'll start by saying that I hate leaving negative feedback and reviews, this being my first (and hopefully last) 1 star Google review, and even after the awful meal, this review wouldn't have been written if we could have just spoken to someone. Since the meal this afternoon, we have tried calling to speak with someone, however there has been no reply every time. Unfortunately in the restaurant our complaints were managed very poorly, with no possibility of speaking to anyone other than our waitress about the experience.
In regards to the experience itself, my partner and I shared a deep fried ravioli dish for starter. This was what turned out to be the only good thing about the evening, with both of us agreeing that it tasted nice, and that it came out really quickly. We then received our main courses, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and a Garlic Lasagna Pizza. My partner cut into a meatball, and after taking a bite, realised that it was fridge-cold on the inside after clearly being microwaved very very badly. This was sent back, and just 3 minutes later, replace with a new portion, that had been microwaved slightly longer. In an attempt to enjoy the evening out, my partner had a few mouthfuls of her meal now that she felt that it was reheated enough to not make her ill.
At this point, I offered my partner some of the incredibly disappointing pizza I had received, and tried some of her meal. The meatballs tasted bland, and had clearly been microwaved as they were steaming on the plate, but luke-warm on the inside, and the sauce tasted of nothing. Having left half of both our meals, the waitress came over and took our plates. We mentioned about the poor quality of the food. After going briefly to talk to someone, we were informed by the waitress that nothing could be done apart from offering us a free dessert, as we had eaten the meals (even though we left half). Needless to say, by this points we were somewhat put off by both our meals, and the fact that we had seen other meals sent back around the restaurant, and declined the offer.
Hopefully this was just a one-off night, however I doubt we will be returning again, and definitely can't recommend Bella Italia...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bella Italia, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a set menu, and we opted for it, which turned out to be a great choice. As always, their pizza was fantastic, with a deliciously thin and crispy crust and a generous amount of flavorful toppings. We also decided to try their spaghetti bolognese, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the rich meat sauce was complemented by the addition of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, adding a delightful touch to the dish.
One aspect that stood out during our visit was the excellent service provided by our server. They were friendly, attentive, and ensured that our food was served promptly from the kitchen. It's always a pleasure to have a server who goes the extra mile to make the dining experience enjoyable.
For starters, I ordered the mushrooms, and they were a great choice. The mushrooms were well-seasoned and cooked to perfection, and they paired wonderfully with the toasted ciabatta slice that accompanied them. It was a simple yet satisfying way to start the meal.
While Bella Italia offers a great dining experience, it is worth noting that it can be on the pricier side of the spectrum. The quality of the food and service justifies the price to some extent, but it might not be the most budget-friendly option for everyone.
In conclusion, my experience at Bella Italia was highly enjoyable. The restaurant impressed with its delicious pizza, flavorsome spaghetti bolognese, and well-prepared starters. The friendly and efficient service added to the overall positive experience. If you don't mind splurging a bit, Bella Italia is definitely worth a visit for a satisfying...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this place by chance as we were shopping nearby. And to our surprise, this passes all our check boxes.
Ambience: The place is beautiful. Its modern and classic at the same time. Well lit but with hanging electric candle light bulbs that makes the atmosphere pleasant. The soft background country music adds and uplifts the overall ambience to a well deserved 5 star.
Food: So we ordered Caramalized onion garlic bread, black olives, Oven baked Macaroni Pasta and Seabass. Price are definitely on higher side, but it's worth every penny. The black olives were pickely and reminded me of my Indian Pickels instantly. The Garlic bread was thin crust and so damn tasty that we fought for the last bite. The macaroni pasta was decent, loaded with cheese and last but not the least, the Seabass was nicely cooked. But the star of the Seabass was the tomato gravy it came with. It was one of the best tasting overall combination I have ever had.
Drinks: We went for a wine bottle first. It was Zinfandel Rose wine and oh boy, my wife enjoyed it like anything. Later we ordered Mojito and Tuty Fruty and both are one of the best on their own.
Service: Service was fast. We didn't have to wait long for our orders at all. The attending lady kept coming to us to make sure we had everything we wanted. Kudos to the staff.
Overall, I would rate the restaurant 5 out of 5. Trust me, if you cannot decide, this place is no blinder to bring around friends and family with a trust that the food will always be top notch and everyone has...
