Belvedere Bar and Dining — Restaurant in England

I don’t usually eat at Polish restaurants in the UK, simply because I’ve never found one that truly impressed me — until now. I was a bit skeptical when my husband insisted we give this place a try, but I’m so glad we did. For the first time, I had genuinely good Polish food in the UK.

Maybe I’ve never been impressed before because I’ve been working in the hospitality and culinary industry for almost 20 years, so it’s not easy to win me over when it comes to traditional Polish cuisine. But this place really surprised me — in the best way.

Everything we ordered was fresh, clearly made from high-quality ingredients, and full of authentic flavour. The dishes weren’t greasy or heavy — just well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the chef knows what they’re doing and has a real passion for Polish food.

The service was also excellent — friendly, warm, and welcoming without being overbearing.
