We Visted This Restaurant Whilst On A Break At A Caravan Park Called Sand Le Maire (FYI Complete Waste Of Money 😒) However, The Highlight Of The Week Break Was This Restaurant. They Serve A Bangladeshi Cusine & The Food We Ordered Was Exceptional. Service Was Quick & Efficient. Menu Had Many Dishs To Offer. The Portions & Prices Charged Was Reasonable Too. Having Visited Many Restaurants Up & Down The Country In Most Major Cities I Was Very Suprised & Taken Aback By The Standard Of The Food Served. This Place Is Truely A Hidden Jem. The Owners Who Are Two Brothers From Hull Should Be Very Proud. If I Remember Correctly Our Server Was Saif (One Of The Owners) Who Looked After All Our Needs, Thank You 🙏🏽 The Locals Are Really Fortunate To Have Such A Quality Restaurant On Their Doorstep. I Recommend The Mix Grill For Sure. Overall For Us Its Definitely 5 Stars! 👏🏽

I persuaded my other half to go in here to Try something different for lunch. Thank goodness! It is absolutely delicious. The food we had was stunning. I had a shami plate. Which is mashed beef, chickpeas with herbs and spices. Shaped into Patti cakes. So yummy. It came with paratha and a mixture of chopped veg. My other half had cheddar and honey mustard pannani. This paninni is so much better than the run of the mill ones from a cafe. You can see from the photos. In the late afternoon and evening it changes to a curry restaurant. The prices are excellent and I feel a beautiful curry calling me. The staff are quick to help and believe me , the young lad on the front desk does an excellent coffee. The restaurant is clean and inviting. If you haven't been , you are missing out. Or you don't know what you are missing and you really should. Enjoy.

Really SMALL portions for the starters for the price they charge, curries were OK if a little salty, delivery was good and on time.

So our booking was for 7.30pm Saturday 30th March. We arrived to see a large queue formed outside. After chatting to a few other ppl stood in the cold who had also booked for 7.30pm we realised they have 2 sittings, 5.30pm and 7.30pm. There were lots of ppl still seated from the previous sitting. After around 15 mins we were seated at the tiniest table with 2 seats behind a coffee machine. Not the best seat in the house but at least we were in. After 40 mins wait we were asked if we would like poppadoms and pickle tray, which actually arrived promptly. We had discussed between ourselves what we wanted to eat and I popped to the toilet which incidentally was clean, when I came back the manager was at the table taking our order. We always order to share as neither of us can finish a dish off each, so we ordered a sizzling starter for 2, a chicken bhuna, pilau rice and a garlic naan in which my hubby was told we couldn't share we would have to order a dish each. This put my back up instantly, but to save making a fuss we agreed to. Stater came, fish masala was raw, batter was soggy so I knew instantly it wasn't cooked. We called over the manager to explain in which he asked us to scoop it from the plate and he would take it away. At this point my hubby was adament he didn't want another starter or to eat this one. I ate a little of the chicken from it and the rest was left as even the kebab looked raw in the middle. The manager then stated we wouldn't pay for the starter, which was fair enough as we hadn't really touched it. Then came our main, I can see why we were told to have 1 each as there were 6 pieces of chicken in the bhuna some of which were barley cooked. Rice was nice along with the garlic naan. This place is chaotic to say the least, the booking system doesn't work, which is clear to see by everyone who visits, the manager was fraught and greedy. The food cooking was rushed to make up time we were actually waiting to be seated and to order. Sadly we won't be returning, which is sad because we were really looking forwards to making it our go to date night place while...

Went for a takeaway meal. Starter, Mixed Kebab, which was moist and very tasty. Mains consisted of Chicken Korma, Chicken Buna, Chicken Masala. Korma was only average, chicken was scarce, and the dish being a mild dish to start with was pretty tasteless and very sweet. The Buna, whilst better was more medium to mild on the taste buds, Buna dishes are usually a little drier, but there was a lot of gravy with this meal. Not what was expected. Not a lot of meat either. Chicken Masala dish ordered, Chicken Tikka Masala discovered when I got to the house. Any ways, this was nothing like Masala. Again meat content poor, it was solidified in the carton, like a poor consistent jelly, very red in colour, you would expect this for a tandoori or tikka based dish but this was almost glowing. The meal had again a very sweet taste, with absolutely no spice or kick in the mouth, very poor, expected this dish to be medium to hot was as mild as the Korma.

Didn't buy any breads, Chappttis £1.10 ago, cannot see or justify why I'd have a tenner down. Wraps in the local Tesco, a quid for 8 large wraps, warmed them up on the stove.

Anyway folks, just my experience...

The food was not very nice bland ordered a chicken korma , chicken tikka masala, Balti chicken tikka korma and it all tasted like a chicken korma very gritty paste like texture just tasted as if they chucked suger in to cook, 4 dry piece's of chicken in each dish also ordered garlic naan bread what was just plain naan (the best part of this meal was the naan) the mushroom rice was ok

Also ordered a prawn puree it was meant to be fluffy and like pastry but it comes like a fried poppadom soaked in oil it was awful

Went to the shop to complain to the manager about the food he wasn't interested at all. He said the food is cooked the way the people of Withernsea like it i was baffled they must just like chicken korma and being ripped off

For the price of this £56 pounds I could have cooked this meal better my self for less with ingredients from Aldi .

Even the microwave meals from Aldi taste better and more true then this restaurant.

I wont be returning to this restaurant at all and we're down in Withernsea quite often as we own a...
