So disappointing This place use to be absolutely amazing for food, drink and atmosphere. However this time the food was swimming in grease and the fish fingers for the kids were rubbery :(
The food wasnât edible at all on this occasion and as I had a newborn baby I couldnât stick around speak to someone about it as the wait had been a while due to the carnival and she needed feeding and changing.
This could be why the quality was at a loss. The mocha taste like it was out of a packet unlike how it use to be which was amazing. I just want to repeat that this is the first time Iâve experienced it like this and Iâve been coming 10 years to withernsea.
upside is the bikers, itâs just a cool place to stop by with all the bikes. So many quirky bikes and even a helmet that look like a disco ball which was absolutely amazing!! Iâve never seen or come across such friendly & welcoming people. Always offer a smile and hello which gives them 10/10
Take it back to basics and the good quality you...
Read moreBest cafe in Withernsea. If you can get a table on busy days, it's worth it, because you get the best view and the service is first class. The couple who run the cafe, ( sorry I know not their names), are lovely and very attentive to everyone walking through the door. Hats off to all the staff who work hard in the little kitchen to satisfy every impatient hungry belly đ, they really run a tight ship. The prices are good considering it's a sea front cafe. Would be a lot more further up the coast. The menu is extensive, something for everyone. Look out for the specials, they are worth it! What makes this place though, is it's down to earth approach, and the great staff. It's hardly changed much since I was a lad, apart from the decor from time to time. I don't know how long the couple running it have been there, but I remember being taken there in the late 80s as a child. It's a warm welcome here, nowt fancy, just exactly what you want or need. May it stay the way it is for many...
Read moreVisited with my partner this morning, he had a breakfast and I had a cheese and bacon panini. I love panini's, but I have never been served one like this before. Not only did it arrive a good ten minutes after my partner got his full English, it had that much cheese on it you couldn't see the bread, when you ate it the bread was that dripping in cheese fat it was mushy, and there wasn't really much bacon in it ,a few cut up pieces. It came with a smidge of lettuce a teaspoon of coleslaw and three tortilla chips and it cost £8.95. Now most people would say did you send it back or say anything. Usually I would, however as it had already taken long enough to get that one, and our time on parking was running low I didn't say anything. I wouldn't usually post a review, but I honestly don't know how they were happy to send this panini out. Yes I ate some of it, I was starving, but I left most of the panini. I did however enjoy the few...
