An institution of a real pub with some great internal fittings and a new healthy sized decked area outside, lit at night all times of the year. Pub has a selection of 4 real ales all the time and gets pretty busy Thurs and Friday night. The rest of the week you'll be able to find a quiet spot somewhere in the nooks and crannies of the pub.
Average prices and generally good quality beer keeps this pub in the good beer guide every year with a selection that will give you a pint that you like whatever you preference.

The outside terrace is a wonderful setting, one high table encompasses a fire pit, and there is plenty of seating as well as benches outside of the pub. There is also an upper terrace which I believe may have to be booked. The emphasis is to enjoy all the outside areas. Inside is quirky, but pleasant and the staff are all incredibly attentive, you don't have to wait long to be served and they offer table service. A truly nice venue to spend time enjoying a drink in Nice...
