Breckon Hill cafe — Restaurant in England

Lovely to use the function rooms however if you go for food, don’t pay attention. The food was sub par in my opinion but their advertised cafe opening time was incorrect as I went in on a Friday at 12 o’clock & got the some what annoyed response: “oh yeah, we close early on a Friday”. This is confusing as it did say on the sign that Fridays close earlier but the times weren’t matching to what she told me. Don’t waste your time or money on the cafe. A great group of people who genuinely seem to care about helping the less fortunate in society(6:30pm on a Tuesday they do a free meal for anyone). Always willing to lend a sympathetic ear, and the food is consistently good, especially considering it's made purely from donated products. And it's all vegetarian. Can't say fairer than that. A nice centre, very good facilities, a lot of versatility to support your needs and friendly staff.
