Bull's Head — Restaurant in England

Awful experience. From the moment we came in we where ignored until we asked for help. The staff seemed very disorganized and there was no order in place. Ordered 2 beef roasts. It was delivered to the wrong table who ordered a lamb roast so we had to wait even longer. The beef when it came was thick and chewy and unable to cut or chew it. We asked for thinner sliced beef was told no, so then ordered a pie roast and a veggie roast. Was served pie and chips and a roast without meat or Yorkshire or stuffing, btw this was still just 2 potatoe pieces, some mash and a handful of veg which we was told would be reduced cost (£10). We left without eating in the end and went next door...

Friendly staff and good pub food. Beer is also well kept and decent selection. Good for watching football with a couple of TVs but also good if you want to sit and have a meal. Good sized beer garden which is undercover. Also has parking available. Doesn’t have anywhere obvious to park a bike but I easily found somewhere to chain it outdoors. I have eaten here a few times now, and although I like to try new places - I keep coming back here for more. The service is really friendly, prices reasonable (especially considering the very high quality), and the food is some of the best I have eaten - in fact the steak I ate here is definitely the best I have had anywhere. Oh, and the desserts are amazing too.
