Rude, useless, unfriendly staff. Went in store to use two vouchers from Burger King customer support after a previous bad experience. The small, hairy, chubby, middle-aged man behind the till was immediately rude and just said "We don't do them here, they're not on the till". When I said that they are vouchers from customer support and Burger King themselves have said that the vouchers can be used at any store, he just kept saying "Yeah we don't do them". A middle-aged blonde woman (potentially the manager) stormed over from the kitchen with a very unfriendly and rude attitude and put the code through the till, the man then muttered something under his breathe. As we had two vouchers, I asked for the drinks to which he said that it's policy from head office that only one voucher can be used per phone. Once again, I said that this goes against the T&Cs of the vouchers, what Burger King themselves have told us, and that didn't actually make any sense to which the rude blonde woman replied by shouting at us from the kitchen! We came in and were friendly and polite throughout so why did those two members of staff feel the need to lie and treat us so poorly, it just put everyone in a bad mood and has caused us to contact head office. At their age they should know some life skills of how to communicate with other people, or perhaps they just felt the need to be miserable and on a power-trip that day. We gave up with the horrible customer service and went to the other Burger King in Shrewsbury (in Bayston Hill) where the staff were really friendly, helpful, and the food was cooked...
Read moreWe are two 70 year olds who were persuaded by our son to try BK after using the opposition for over 40 years, so, 15th October we were on the A49 about lunchtime and decided to pop in to BK at Robert Jones Way, Battlefield, Shrewsbury. Stood outside the entrance trying to work out the app I said to the wife "I haven't a clue what I'm doing" when a young woman, about to enter, said "I can help with that, I work Here" then proceeded to guide us through the order process in a cheerful and professional manner. Read moreStopped at Burger King on the way home from the airport - was really looking forward to it and the food has nornally been nice there in the past anytime we've been. However this time, the food was ice cold and the chips tasted like they had been cooked for hours and let go cold. We thought it's probably not safe to reheat so didn't want to take the chance. So we basically paid £20 for food we had to throw in the bin as it was freezing and inedible - will not be back.
