We don't eat here but we regularly call in for a couple of beers after work, and are regularly disappointed with the selection of ales available. Yesterday there were zero... 😔 There are plenty of other draught beers so not really a big deal. However, we have many breweries in the area who I'm sure would be very happy to see their beers served in this pub. Salopian are literally ten minutes up the A49 in Hadnall. The one star docked for service is because there never seems to be enough staff to serve drinks, and the star docked for atmosphere is because of their insistence on having a big screen TV showing BBC news with subtitles. I can't stand TVs in pubs... Lol.

A modern pub and restaurant. Plenty of space to relax and unwind. The restaurant serves plenty of pub favourites with gd food and fast service. Staff are friendly and helpful. We did suggest our portion of chicken could of been bigger but we enjoyed it. We Always take the family and will do again.Unfortunatly like most restaurants around the town the Henry's are really struggling for kitchen staff, the menu has been reduced but what they do serve is really good, luved the Katsu curry.Nat,Harvey and Amy really looked after us.thanks.Just ate at the Henry's again and the service, food and portions were excellent.

We turned up as they were closing the play barn. Not because it was owing time, but because there was no one in So we had the whole place to ourselves which was lovely. I live in skegness , my daughters family live in Wolverhampton and my dad is in a home in Bicton. So. The 3 Henry's was a greta choice to meet up. The young girl was really nice and helpful. The food was abit yak. But, we didnt really go to eat. I got to play with my grandson on my own in the play area without any other kids screaming and shouting. Thank you to the young lady that was there and stayed open for us on Sunday. X

If there was an option to give '0' stars here,i would definitely be pressing that button !!!! We went for a family meal last night ,friday 20/09/19,which we had been looking forward to all day.....We browsed the menus & placed our order with the waitress, nothing out of the ordinary food wise,2 hunters chicken, cheese burger & childrens 6 nugget meal...First,my Son's nuggets came with just four nuggets on a large plate with nothing else, no chips,as ordered & 2 missing nuggets,my partners cheese burger was something battered with bacon, not the simple cheese burger ordered, when alerting the waitress she said "dont you want the bacon one then" !! NO we ordered the cheese burger !!! My partner told us to continue eating, this had already started to ruin our evening,my son's chips & missing nuggets arrived ten minutes later,my partner was still waiting 20 minutes on for the cheeseburger, it eventually arrived & he said "Babe, your not going to believe this, its chicken" ,I laughed, thinking he was joking but no !!!! He had been handed a chicken burger !! Twice now we had stated the order was a cheeseburger!! I got up from the table, burger in hand & asked the waitress how they are getting it so wrong ! Explaining now for the 3rd time its meant to be a CHEESEBURGER ,"so do you want the cheeseburger then" i was asked !!!!!!!!!! REALLY !!!! My partner,at this point was wanting to leave having not eaten a thing,we had finished our meals....another 20 minutes later the CHEESEBURGER arrived ! HALLELUJAH!!! He opened it up & ths bun was black !! He ate 2 mouthfuls ! enough was enough !! What was meant to be a lovely family night out turned into stress & disbelief!! Yes ,after speaking to the manager, the cheeseburger meal was taken off the bill !! However that didnt cover the mistakes with my son's meal, the lenghty time taken to rectify numerous mistakes & a completely ruined evening out......I picked up the christmas day menu as we walked in,i promptly put it back when we exited !!!!!...

Didn’t have a good experience when eating here recently. We weren’t told of anything that would not be available on the menu that day but on ordering discovered that what we wanted wasn’t available. We then waited for an hour before I had to get up to ask where our food was as we had an appointment elsewhere at 2pm. Being 6 months pregnant and now running out of time I was starting to feel very anxious and stressed. We had booked for 12 because we didn’t want to have to rush our meals down. I had ordered the vegetarian roast dinner but it wasn’t complete so I asked for the stuffing that was missing. I was presented with two slabs of stuffing that had clearly been put quickly in the microwave and was still cold in the middle. It really did feel like the kitchen staff had sent it in a strop. The veg was overcooked to the point it was nearly soup, the gravy was tasteless and my 8 year old nieces garlic bread was very burnt. My partner had ordered a side of macaroni cheese but he ended up with a main of macaroni. Meanwhile my poor sister still didn’t have her fajita. She didn’t manage to finish hardly any of her food because it arrived so late and we had to leave. We spoke to our waitress and to one of the waiters about the poor quality and very slow service but they had to keep going away to ask the manager about every issue we had had which delayed things further. The manager should have come over to speak to us rather than leaving their staff to deal with complaints. As we left I overheard two other tables complaining that their food was cold. The table next to us had a whole cabbage leave instead of lettuce with their prawn cocktail 🤷‍♀️ Very very poor management and the chefs that day need training on how to cook. I wouldn’t recommend this...

There is a sign above the door that says 'Welcome' which reads fine until you are not welcomed at all. After a 200 mile drive we arrived at the Travelodge next door delighted to see the Two Henrys slap bang next door. Better still, seeing that it and the Travelodge situated to compliment each other and so we entered about 7pm 28th May 2022. Through the door and some tables had diners, many did not and the entire bar area free. Our host sat at the bar chatting to bar staff across the room. Eye contact made concluding her chat first over she came. She was not impolite. 'Have you booked' and we answered not. Gesturing to the half full dining area she stated they were fully booked throughout the evening and were not accepting any 'unwelcome' walk ins. There was no short bar snack menu for bar area and absolutely no service rushing activity in the place at all. Zero special arrangements for exhausted Travelodge travellers. We queried a squeeze in, bar area small meal, book for later but it was"No, No,No!" It really did seem the staff had little interest in building up the cash flow and their convenience far more important than would be customers.

In the end exhausted we drove to the nearby Bridgewater Arms that was seething with people and food flying . Nevertheless helpful staff found us a table served a good meal with good beers. So it was we went to the Bridgewater for our entire stay thereafter including breakfasts. So any travellers are well advised to go straight to the Bridgewater and avoid embarrassing dismissal form the Two Henrys premises where staff seem to come first. It causes me sadness to have to write this report as I spotted Greene King Ales, my...
