APPALLED...... Entered the premises and the first thing we saw was an empty restaurant. At least 30% of the tables/floor had food debris on top or underneath with a child seat absolutely covered in remnants of a meal. We started using an automated screen to order but had an issue. When we asked a staff member if we could pay at the counter we were told that we could not do this and they could not take payment at the counter. The staff member could see we were struggling but didn't even offer to help. There were 5 or 6 staff in the store and they were all out of sight behind the front of house serving area, laughing and joking among themselves. Two workers then came into the restaurant and started clearing a table themselves with napkins. I approached the counter and called "Excuse me" I called loud enough to be heard and could see the employee but was ignored, so I called much louder and asked for the manager's name. The employee never called for the manager. So, I explained that I would be reporting the store for the mess and lack of service. The response of "OK" startled me as even then there was no further interaction from the staff or appearance by the manager. The restaurant started to fill up and a family came in. The youngest was around 5 and even she made a comment "Urgh, it's dirty" referring to the chips on the floor. There was no offer to clean our table when the food arrived and it was 15 minutes before a staff member started to tidy up. Unfortunately this situation is not unique to the Blackburn outlet but is clearly an 'across the board' problem. My issue with this particular store was the staff response to an issue...
Read moreI ordered off just eat, but when the order arrived it was missing most of the food. When i rang Blackburn burger king i was told that if i wanted my food i had to go and get it myself, even though i had paid for delivery. The man on the phone then said i had hung up on him and proceeded to call me to the manager who then started calling me again, making comments in regards to me giving my children burger king for their tea! This continued for about 5/7 minutes all the while i am still on the phone listening to all this, along with my children who got very upset at hearing these people abuse their mother! I was livid and so decided to let them know in person just what i thought at there comments and abusive behaviour towards a customer. I can a sure you, they did not like me going in to confront them. I have since be trying to find a contact number for the region manager, or anything where i can talk to someone about this. But it seems you cant put complaints in about burger king! That is vile and disgusting behaviour from staff and the assistant manager. I recommended people do not bother to keep these people in jobs and if that is how burger king allows its customers to be treated like that, i will be ensuring that this review goes on every site i can possibly find along with just eat who get a bad name by having these companies...
Read moreNever go here. Each time I have been with the kids they don't have something on the menu. For example, we went on my child's birthday to be told they had no fries 🍟 NO FRIES! we were offered onion rings but my child did not like them so we left. I wrote an email and Burger King's customer service team simply said its a franchise, sorry. We tried again a different day about a month later and queued up at the drive through behind a car for 15 minutes. Finally the car in front moved and when I asked if I could place my order I was told that we couldn't order through the drive through system! 15 minutes wait to be told that! So we went inside. Once inside we were told that there were no ice creams available because the machine had broken. Once again we left because that is what we had gone for. Nearly two months later we decided to forgive and forget and try again. Guess what? The ice cream machine was still broken. The excuse was that it costs £800 to fix. Well if that's the case then: Don't advertise that you sell it when you clearly don't intend to. Note the other failings I have listed above, admit that you can't run a business properly and shut down so that a real business...
