Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

The coffee at Costa is always good but always priced with people who have more money than sense in mind - that's why normal people like me only go there occasionally as a special treat.

I also had a slice of lemon and blueberry ripple cake, which was almost to die for (and at nearly 600 calories per slice, it actually might kill you, but you'd die fairly happy 😊). But just like the coffee, it's damnebly expensive.

I might be being unfair, only giving 3 stars for the service. The lad doing the service did an admirable and spot on accurate job, as well as being more polite than a servant on Downton. Trouble was that he was on his own, which obviously isn't his fault it's the fault of Costa.

As for the atmosphere, this has to be the 2nd most uncomfortable Costa I have ever experienced - the most uncomfortable being the one in the Mall in Blackburn...

Lovely coffee shop ..... and the staff are excellent!!!!! polite and helpfull my girls love it there. don't understand why people complain about dirty tables...... everytime i have been on diffrent times it has allways been clean. and it's not slow may be when there is less staff but more customers obviously it's going to be slow.we should expect that (for goodness sake it's a coffee shop not a vending machine that your coffee is going to be ready in 10 seconds. grow up people these guys are just doing there job to the best possible standard you expect. they only human not robots? so be nice to them and patient and you will get your coffee how you like it ) i gave 5 stars because i think they are brilliant...

We went Sunday 13th,the young lad was lovely and seemed to be doing all the work.The looks we received and attitude off the young girl was absolutely disgusting,she made it very obvious that she didn't want to be to there,i was very embarrassed how I was treated,but I wasn't the only customer to notice,not good on the company. Most of the tables were dirty and full of dishes,where we were sat we could see behind the counter,we left most of our food and drink , because after seeing terrible mess,it put us off,we understand a busy place can get messy,but this wasn't messy ,this was filth,plus it wasn't even busy.
