(16.6.23) Popped over to Shrewsbury this morning. My hubby thoroughly enjoyed the salmon royale and I had a sausage butty. Delicious, thanks Elliot. We loved the vanilla iced latte, so much so, we returned later to try a caramel iced latte. Thanks guys. Loved the changes since our last visit
(30.12.22) Popped in this morning and tried the porridge. It was absolutely delicious. Great service as always. Thank you team x
(26.10.22) Took a trip to Shrewsbury yesterday and popped into my favourite coffee shop. Coffee was delicious as always and there was a mouth watering display of cakes. It was hard to choose. Staff were friendly and efficient. If in Shrewsbury, pop in, you won't be disappointed.
(21.4.22) Dropped in for a coffee this morning. Some new staff since my last visit but efficient and friendly. A new feature wall has been painted by local artist and it is amazing. Worth popping in to see. Great local talent. Coffee delicious as usual.
I popped into my favourite coffee shop in Shrewsbury today. Always a tempting range of cakes on display and delicious coffee. A lovely relaxing atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and dog friendly. I would highly recommend this...
Read moreWow! What a little gem. Visited this delightful cafe when taking our dog to the animal hospital in Shrewsbury. I had a latte, stack of pancakes with mascarpone, fruit and crispy bacon. In honesty the bacon was a little crispy for me but the smoky, salty flavour juxtaposed the sweet fruit and fluffy pancakes. The coffee was smooth and rich in flavour, no bitter after notes. My partner had one of the many iced teas made fresh to order and she was not disappointed either. We had a lovely seat in the window and could admire the Tudor architecture and busy street. The interior was nicely decorated, restroom was clean and the host was a wonderful lady who we felt took genuine interest in us. She offered her patrons a cheery hello and goodbye and the rest of her team were friendly and inviting. We did not feel rushed during our visit and only wish we lived closer so we can enjoy this lovely cafe again. It may seem a little cramped at first when you walk in but seating is comfortable and this cosy cafe must not be missed on your trip into Shrewsbury. We spent approx. £13 per person for the...
Read moreWe've visited this cafe last year and found it to be lovely! However, today's visit was so disappointing! Service was slow and all over the place. We ordered eggs benedict (which was nice) cheese and onion toastie (tasted nice) both of which came with a rather pathetic handful of bagged salad leaves. There was no children's menu, no soft drinks apart from fizzy or orange juice with pulp. So my 3 year old had to have toast. My daughters toast never arrived. Asked them and they'd forgotten it. After 10 minutes it came minus the jam.. in addition my flat white, I could of fit in a thimble. That being said, the food we did have tasted nice and was well presented. Can't say I'd bother...
