Caffè Nero — Restaurant in England

PLEASE READ!! 17/06/2025 Upon visiting this establishment for a quick drink, i noticed a very quiet atmosphere within the building. Not many customers but it was very busy around town. I waited ages to get my order taken while one chap behind the till was dillydallying and not paying much attention. I finally ordered one of the new luxury espresso caramel, the prices were different depending on whether you were eating in or taking out. The man hadnt asked me what i wanted to do so then i instantly knew i would be charged more. It came to payment and i couldn’t see the price on the cash machine, i asked the man to show me and the price was £6. The price i was meant to pay was £4.95. luckily i had noticed this and he definitely had too, he knew what he was doing as alarm bells were raised from t he start. We usually visit the Cafe Nero Poole branch on weekends with my spouse. Apart from one minor incident, we've always had good experiences with the staff there. Today, we visited again and Veronica prepared our drinks. I wanted to take a moment to thank her because she provided us with an excellent experience. She patiently and kindly prepared our order and even offered some great suggestions about the app.

Always had a lovely experience in Caffè Nero as my partner used to work here until he left recently and a member of staff has been nothing but rude for no reason. Spoke privately to the manager to make a complaint and they seem to know that I was the one to make a complaint because when I went in there today for a drink with my family this member of staff put her middle finger up at me infront of customers and acted like it was completely fine to do.
