Friendly service and dog friendly was a great start...... Unfortunately, the same enthusiasm didn't translate to the quality of their offerings. The coffee, sadly, was a major letdown. It tasted bland and watery, lacking the robust flavor one expects from a good cuppa. It was as if they used too much water or too little coffee, resulting in a disappointing brew. We also opted for a slice of their carrot cake, hoping for a tasty treat. However, it was overwhelmingly sugary and had a distinctly artificial taste. It felt like it was designed for an extended shelf life rather than immediate enjoyment. The texture was also somewhat off, suggesting the use of pre-made mixes or artificial ingredients. If you're a coffee connoisseur or a fan of genuine, homemade cakes, you might be better off looking elsewhere. It's a shame the food and drink didn't match the exceptional service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this coffee shop as it was recommended, it is lovely inside and clearly busy, however and it's a very big however, they do not cater for anyone who is needing gluten free food. Not only do they not have anything they can guarantee is gluten free but they have a system where, to find that out, you need to use a QR code and then stand and look at a list of food, non of which is actually gluten free. On the counter there are cakes pastries etc all labeled vegan or vegetarian, but apparently not able to label food as gluten free. Being unable to have gluten is not a lifestyle choice and this was, in my opinion, very very poor. I would also add that the staff although perfectly pleasant, were clearly not interested and not in the least but sorry. I have never had to give such a poor review before and I won't be...

This branch did Poole a good service by turning an empty old Burger King into a bustling, popular coffee shop. The coffee tastes good enough to enjoy black, though their range of flavoured beverages are tempting too! I'm told the teacakes are lush (and massive) - but my go to is an americano with one of the small dark chocolate orange bars by the till.
Only knocking a star off as it can get pretty drafty in here on a cold day - the door position and general open-ness of the layout makes...
