Sandwiches Etc... — Restaurant in England

By far the worst lunch I have had in a very long time. The establishment looks great, and for somewhere called "Sandwiches etc" you would assume that they know how to make a decent sandwich. They do not. I ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado roll. The chicken was the pre-cooked, pre-sliced stuff from tesco and the avocado was two very slim slices. My partner had "a special" option of Wiltshire ham, expecting some nice thick ham...nope, again it was just the stuff from tesco. I could have made a better sandwich myself for less money, and used better quality bread. The coffee on site is made using a standard hospital machine, with no option for any variety, and requiring absolutely no skill to make this either. The toilet is also not ideal. It is placed upstairs, with no facilities for changing children, despite the staff being welcoming to young children. All of this for the wonderous price of nearly £12 for two terrible rolls and two soft drinks. I absolutely will not be returning and would advise anyone else thinking of going there to take their money elsewhere. And by money, I mean cash, as this establishment does not take anything other than cash and has no sign up to say so, therefore meaning when you want to leave because your sandwich is awful and you are still hungry from having a disappointing lunch, you have to go and get cash and then...

I came in and sat down inside, and was approached my the manager of the cafe, asking me what I'd want, then I said I'm just looking, she same back like 2 minutes later and said what are you having, I said I'm just waiting for a friend. And then she said if I'm not gonna buy anything (that second) I have to leave. Even though she wasn't busy and only had three people sat inside and none sat outside, I had to leave because I wasn't gonna buy anything that second. Went for a breakfast this morning with 4 friends. We are all in our 50's & 60's. The food was very nice, we all had a full English! The lady who I'm assuming owns the cafe has zero customer service/ social skills! After finishing our food we were just chatting & laughing, we were told in a very rude manner to "keep the noise down". She didn't even come over to us, just muttered it as she was walking past!! So definitely won't be going...
