I order from here on a regular basis. I am sad to say I will never order here again because of the negative response when I asked for 'my own money' the delivery driver turned up late as per usual, then didn't have any change, this is the second this has happened. I spoke to someone and they told me "is that what you called for?" They proceeded to argue with me about "my money" an I should should class it as a "tip" and just argue with me about if I ordered online would I call them an ask for my money, blah, blah. Tips are earned it's money wether it is £1.50 or £5 it's my choice. Just like I don't ask for a discount or ever get one. Don't tell me when I should pay a tip. I was told I would get money which I never recieved, tbh the money isn't the big problem it's how I was spoken too! I am disgusted about how I was spoken to as a regular customer when I simply said u should make sure the driver has changed to give people....

This authentic Carribbean and Jamaican Takeaway is truly amazing! Offer real homely and more specifically 'Soul food' that you just cannot get anywhere else. The dishes are delicious to say the least. You can mix and match what you want, you have a wide selection of savoury or sweet foods, prices are soooo cheap you'll come back for more the next day.

I got the fired chicken with rice and beans. That is one full dinner plate of food that's for die for, and it only cost me £7. You then have fresh banana fritters, plantain, fried dumplins and much more. All portions ranging from £1 - £2.

The staff are as funny as their food is good. Very friendly and happy to give you a sample of something you haven't tried.

I have purchased basically the same meals from CJ for about 4 years and on the last few occasions I have noticed an inverse relationship between the cost of the meal and the size of the portions I.e. portions have got smaller as the cost has risen. Having just this week purchased 4 meals at the average cost of £11.30 where the portions were minuscule and the customer service even more lacking I will not be patronising this establishment in the future. The excuse of increased cost for materials and energy is acceptable only up to a certain point. I also have increased costs to juggle with so one thing I will be cutting back on is large prices for small portions of below average food and poor...
